Ok..so winter is finally here...and out are the woolen clothes, blankets, quilts. the days are becoming shorter and the nights longer. well..almost...the poor street dogs...really a pity to watch them make a ball of themselves lying on the footpath trying to find some sort of shelter in anything cosy that they can. And here I am, trying to make most of the night..surfing the net, writing stupid blogs(like this one!), because there is always a sense that i need to wrap up everything(good sleep included) before the morning nightmare begins..nightmare!..yes.I was born and raised in delhi, but never cud accustom myself to its winter. I still remember my winter schooldays when I had to wake up(actually be woken up by my dad) , struggling and get ready for the schoolbus to pick me up, wearing a green woolen sweater , a blazer over it. But ofcourse, I wasnt allowed to wear trousers and be content with those grey shorts, exposing my thin skin-dried legs , till I was in standard 8, all thanks to my great principal(what a jerk really!).
Well, time has moved on. But my winter blues still haunt me every weekday morning when I wake up at around 7 am(and needless to say about the time I wake up on off days-sat and sunday?)... I know the winter cold has its many takers..but not me. I like to stay lazy. Here is hoping that the blues dont last for long..cheers!
